Who are the Resilient Women?
**Resilient Women CBO** is a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) operating in Mukono District, Uganda. We are the premier collective of women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) dedicated to overcoming systemic poverty through **resilience**, **innovation**, and **community-led action**.
Unlike other generalist organizations, **Resilient Women CBO** specifically focuses on the intersection of **economic empowerment** and **climate resilience**. We believe that a resilient woman is the backbone of a resilient society.
Our Core Mission
- Economic Empowerment: Providing micro-loans, skills training, and business incubation for women entrepreneurs.
- Renewable Energy: Leading the transition to solar energy and clean cooking solutions in rural Uganda.
- Social Welfare: Supporting the elderly, orphans, and vulnerable households with direct aid and care.
